    PAMIC is updating it's sponsorship benefits packages! With the introduction of the new staff, we have decided it is time to update our technology. Several benefits will change because of this update. Announcements for this update will be released in our Sponsorship and Benefits Updates webinar hosted in the end of November.

    PAMIC, (Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies), the premier provider of education, networking and advocacy to insurance companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, has expanded its partnership with Enquiron to provide Enquiron’s Cyber solutions to all of their member groups. This expansion allows PAMIC to continue their mission of successfully meeting the needs of their policyholders, agents, employees and board members.

    The PAMIC Leadership recognizes that protecting customer and business data and information is at the forefront of every insurer’s mission. According to Ron Gallagher, President, Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance companies (PAMIC) “Cyber threats are here to stay.  Only through timely, accurate and useful knowledge can PAMIC members achieve their goal of protecting their data and customer information from cyber-attacks. Preparedness and continued education form the foundation of a strong cybersecurity program.  PAMIC’s relationship with Enquiron and its Cyber Solutions Portal, helps to solve the educational and preparedness needs of our members.”

    With the expanded relationship, each PAMIC member group will now have unlimited access to cyber guidance, content and tools in addition to Enquiron’s award-winning HR and employment law and HR guidance, content and tools, including articles, training courses, guides, forms, posters and more.

    The Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (PAMIC) is a trade association that has proudly represented the Mutual Insurance Industry since 1907. Our membership comprises some of the most historic companies in the industry, along with new companies who are thriving under the same model. Today our 57 member groups represent 108 property and casualty insurers licensed to do business in Pennsylvania. While we are based in Pennsylvania, PAMIC membership represents the majority of the Mid-Atlantic region.     Due to the sudden change in staff, PAMIC is sorry to announce that the Fall Eastern and Western group meetings will be canceled. These meetings will resume in the Spring as planned.

    We would like to welcome two new staff members to our staff! First up, our new Director of Education and Events, Andrea Stroble. Andrea graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2015. Shortly after graduating, she began her career in the hospitality industry as a Sales Assistant at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square. As she learned about the group sales aspect of the hotel business, she became much more interested in the event planning and catering. After about a year she was promoted to the position of Executive Meeting Specialist where she worked in the Convention Services department and obtained extensive knowledge in hotel operations and client relations. When she relocated back to the Harrisburg area in the summer of 2017, her experience at the Sheraton in Pittsburgh led her to a position as an Event Sales Manager and Wedding Specialist at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel. Here she directed countless Weddings, Galas, and black tie events. When she’s not working, Andrea enjoys cooking, playing with her cat Beau, and attending live music events in the area.

    Our second new employee is our new Director of Communications and Technology, Brittany Mlynek. Brittany graduated from Juniata College with a Degree in Multimedia Technology Strategies in 2017 and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Strategic Communications. Throughout her college career, she completed an honors thesis mastering the relationship-marketing approach, which was then accepted to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research in 2017. After graduation, she began her career in the communications field as a marketing consultant at Operation Crusader, a relationship marketing company based in York, PA. While working there, she gained the experience needed to create a cohesive marketing and communication plan for various companies. While in her downtime, Brittany enjoys photography, drawing, and spending time with her family.
