NAMIC’s Congressional Contact Program (CCP) is a world-class advocacy operation that is widely known within the insurance world as the industry’s premier grassroots program. CCP is designed to provide our members with the opportunity to personally visit with their congressional representatives and staff to voice their concerns over national legislation and issues that affect the property/casualty insurance industry.

2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Briefing at NAMIC D.C. Offices
3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Meetings with PA Senate Offices
5:00 - 6:30 p.m. Reception at NAMIC Offices
Tuesday, October 24, 2017
9:00 - 2:00 p.m. Meetings with the PA House Offices
During the Congressional Contact Program the following issues will be discussed:
- Insurance Regulation
- Natural Disaster Mitigation
- Reforming and Reauthorizing the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
- Drones and Private Airspace
As part of our CCP program this year, we are handing out NAMIC’s Benjamin Franklin Public Policy Awards to legislators that were supportive of our issues last Congress. For Pennsylvania we will be presenting them to the offices of Sen. Pat Toomey (R), Rep. Bill Shuster (R-9), Rep. Lou Barletta (R-11), Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-12), and Rep. Matt Cartwright (D-17).
There is a room block reserved for PAMIC members at the Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Ave NW, for a rate of $309/night plus tax.
