While there are two main types of memberships (Regular and Associate), we differentiate each member by a type to better meet your needs. Membership renews on July 15th of every year. Mutual Insurer Membership Types
A. Regular member - ask for pricing
Regular members are mutual insurance companies or a stock insurance company that is a subsidiary of a mutual holding company. Regular members are under $100,000,000 Pennsylvania DWP: .903% of Pennsylvania DWP, subject to a maximum of $9,500 and a minimum of $1,400. Regular members over $100,000,000 are subject to a maximum of $12,600. Perpetual companies, defined as companies marketing policies with substantial deposit premiums, shall pay dues calculated on 10% of deposits to yield an equivalent conventional DWP.
B. General Insurer - ask for pricing
General members are insurance companies that do not meet the qualifications as a regular member. Typically, this category includes Stock Insurance Companies, Reciprocal Exchanges, Captive Insurers, Risk Retention Groups, among many others. General Insurer members under $100,000,000 Pennsylvania DWP: .903% of Pennsylvania DWP, subject to a maximum of $9,500 and a minimum of $1,400. Regular members over $100,000,000 are subject to a maximum of $12,500. Perpetual companies, defined as companies marketing policies with substantial deposit premiums, shall pay dues calculated on 10% of deposits to yield an equivalent conventional DWP.

Associate members come from a variety of service areas. Many of these areas are: Law Firms, Claims Adjusting and Forensics, Information Technology, Restoration Services, Auditing, Finance & Accounting, Other Insurance Services, ReInsurers, Reinsurance Intermediaries, and National Insurance Company Trade Associations.
